Pay attention to labels
Some fabric types cannot be tumble dried, so you’ll want to set those pieces aside to air dry, in a well-ventilated place, laid out on a flat surface.
Choose the right size machine
Choosing the correct machine size is your first step towards brilliant results.

Avoid overloading the dryer as it can lead to longer drying time and wrinkled clothes. Fill dryers less than half way for best results. Conversely, under-loading can waste energy.

Clean and damp garments only
Applying heat to dirty garments make stains harder to remove in the future. For best results, ensure your garments are clean and recently washed. Ensure your garments are damp; running a dryer with dry items in them can ruin your garments.
Dryer sheets are great for preventing wrinkles and static.
Don’t leave dry items in the dryer
Once the drying cycle is complete, promptly remove your clothes to avoid wrinkles and static. Fold or hang your items immediately for best results.
Drying time
Our dryers are super efficient and you should only need 25-30 minutes to dry your items. Keep in mind that heavy fabrics like jeans, towels and bath mats may require a more time, while lighter fabrics like shirts, underwear and bed sheets will dry more quickly. Doonas can vary, depending on density.
A low temperature may be required; check your garment labels. Selecting low temperatures can increase drying time.
Drying times may also be longer, if all you need is our dryers (you brought in wet washing). This is because our washers have very high-speed spin cycles and extract more water, requiring less drying.
Heat settings
Our dryers are equipped with various settings to cater to different fabrics and drying needs. Common settings include:
- High Heat: Best for towels, jeans, and other heavy fabrics.
- Medium Heat: Suitable for everyday clothing like t-shirts and shorts.
- Low Heat: Ideal for delicate items and fabrics that are prone to shrinkage.
